Camp Wauhkin

Built and still owned by the Frank family, 115-year-old Camp Wauhkin perches above the east shore of Lake Placid, nestled between Whiteface Mountain and the High Peaks.  Camp Wauhkin gives guests the feel of living in an historic setting, comfortably updated over the years.  It boasts a modern kitchen, excellent beds, and many bathrooms.  A short path leads to a private boathouse for easy lake access.  Family groups quickly feel at home, with plenty of privacy and plenty of things to do together, all in a setting of incomparable natural beauty.
